I had so much fun making these peppermint Mickey bath bombs! They fizz up perfectly, and smell perfect for the holidays! The Epsom salt in them really helps with aches and pains, the peppermint is relaxing, and the coconut oil makes your skin feel amazing! These would be cute in any shape silicone mold that you have, or cupcake shaped in a cupcake tin.
You can give them as a gift for the holidays, a birthday, or any occasion. Feel free to substitute the peppermint for any scent that you might have on hand or prefer. My kids had a fantastic time helping me make these Mickey bath bombs too! Great teacher gifts for Christmas!
1/2 a cup of baking soda
1/2 a cup of corn starch
1/4 cup of melted coconut oil
2-4 drops of peppermint oil
1/2 cup of citric acid
1/4 cup of Epsom salts
Mix the dry ingredients together, and then slowly add the melted coconut oil and peppermint oil. THe consistency should feel like wet sand.
Pack the mixture into your mold or cupcake tin.
Let the bath bombs sit for 12 hours to dry properly.
Enjoy a nice, relaxing bath!
